"I'll be done well before the TGT!" I thought one week after the start of Trend dictionary memorization project as part of my English study. Trilled and overjoyed, I skipped two days of study indulging myself... <-- "Hey! You really wanna spend a whole year ?! " :(
Tedious task of memorizing the dictionary has to be handled in a right way. And, every person has his/her own way of getting the job done.
What's working for me is to induce the fear of now knowing, hence, to stir up my interest of the target subject. I find English articles of the target industry online. I read them using dictionary and the internet to help me understand the backgrounds. Then, I start the dictionary memorizing task.
It works 'cause it's after I encountered tough articles full of jargons - "fear of not knowing." I know that's a little lame that I have to corner myself to do things. But, it can't be helped. I have no other way. :(
