As I wrote in the previous journal, I failed once. But, finally I made it.
This annual ceremony dating back to 752 A.D. And it is to ask for forgiveness of our sins and to pray for peace and good harvest.
Torches lead the monks to the house of prayer. Tourists come only to see these big torches and leave right after.
I walked up to the temple and there were only few people left. I opened the wooden, charcoal-color door and entered. When the door shut, it was so dark, and the strong smell of incense filled the room.
I could only see dim candle light inside the small room afar, and the shadows of the monks chanting by the light.
The strong smell of incense and the sound vibration of chants, but not much visual…
Seemed like the thought is the only thing left for me to control. I closed my eyes and prayed for forgiveness of my lots of sins… ;)
